CoHSAT is a non-partisan group of voluntary and campaigning organisations working across Oxfordshire to create attractive, accessible and people-friendly streets. We will do this by encouraging efficient, active, low carbon and sustainable travel, which will reduce traffic, air pollution and noise, and enable healthy and thriving communities.
We believe active travel is an important issue for the 6 May 2021 local elections. You can read our manifesto here and see the recording of our 15 April 2021 virtual conference here.
Ahead of the elections, CoHSAT conducted a survey of candidate views on active travel issues. 61.5% of candidates responded, including over 85% of the successful Oxford City Council candidates and over 65% of successful Oxfordshire County Council candidates. You can find out how all of the newly elected candidates responded to the survey here.
