Low Traffic Neighbourhoods are communities where traffic is deliberately reduced through residential streets. Private vehicles still have access to homes and businesses, but through-traffic is significantly reduced. Low Traffic Neighbourhoods make it safer to walk and bike, amongst many other benefits.
CoHSAT's work on this issue
CoHSAT supports Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in Oxfordshire. We have contributed to various consultations about the LTN pilots in Cowley and Jerico.
CoHSAT has completed a project on Low Traffic Neigbourhoods, producing a residents guide and a campaigners guide.
