The third annual CoHSAT conference took place on April 25, 2022

Our key note speaker was Dr Kay Inckle, Campaigns and Policy Manager for disabled people’s cycling organisation Wheels for Wellbeing.

Kay gave a great talk on ‘Inclusive Active Travel: Why, What and How’.

This was followed by reports from the CoHSAT team on the projects completed in 2021/2022  – with thanks to funding from the Low Carbon Hub.  

  • Sarah Leeming reported back on research exploring issues around School Travel with parents who drive;
  • Based on experience in Oxford, Robin Tucker and Simon Pratt introduced new guides on Low Traffic Neighbourhoods with targeted content for residents and campaigners;
  • Alison Hill and Brenda Boardman presented online survey results and policy recommendations for 15-Minute Neighbourhoods.
